Not sure what to say?

Aloha Mom, Your presence has been gone now for 15 yrs. Your memory is still present and lives in all of us. So much has happened this past year, heartbreaking and wonderful moments. You are now a Great-Great Grandmother and I am a Great-Grandmother. Milo Malcom was born April 7, 2024, the son of Kirin and Hailie. A happiness to us all. I Love and Miss you, Mom Babes

I met Eke when she was around 28 and I was 14. She and Jack lived across the lane from us in Kahala. Her brother Eddy and I were friends from 6th grade at Aliiolani thru Roosevelt High School. I baby sat Tommy, Patty, and Bobbie plus one or two other kids. At least four regularly. That was usually afternoons. At night Eke and Jack and I played Trumps, our favorite card game. I remember Eke as a beautiful woman, with the sweetest smile. I adored her. I cleaned house for her when she was...

In 1969-70 the Rycroft family took me in because of troubles with my own family , Eke treated me like one of her sons and I will never forget that , she was so sweet You will be truly missed

Aloha Mom, It´s Super Bowl LVII Sunday. Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles. It has been a really good and exciting game. Scores have been close each quarter. Thinking of you as I know you would truly enjoy it. Miss having you here to watch it with. I yell at the TV in your place. We watch the game every year in honor of you. Your family here is growing and growing strong. I Love and miss you Mom Babes

Hard to believe it has been 12 years since you left us. Bob and I will be watching the Super Bowl this Sunday, as we have been since your passing, thinking of you. Auntie Ernie is now with you, the rest of her elder sisters and Uncle Kevin. I carry a guilt in my heart for not connecting with her when Patty left us. She is the one Aunt I should have contacted and didn´t. But I know she is resting peacefully with all of you. I am glad that you did not have to go through what the world...

Eke was a good friend and neighbor to me during the 1950's. I played many card games with her and Jack, and they hired me as a babysitter and mother's helper. They took me to the roller derby and treated me like a young sister. Eke was a sweetheart through and through and was a beautiful woman.

Today I receive a beautiful bouquet of White Orchids, White Hydrangea and White Roses from my daughter with a card stating " We come from a line of Strong Women. I am thinking of you today Mom. I Love You, Nalani Alo."
She has been my supporting rock these past weeks. You would be so proud of her strength.

Patty left us January 21 to be with you, Mike, Tommy, Billy and my dads. She was a true warrior, fighting hard to her last breath. I miss her so, my heart aches. This loss...
