Not sure what to say?

Lyn, known as "Ethie" was my first roommate at The Bishop's School in La Jolla, our Freshman year. I have not seen her since graduation. What an amazing, talented woman she became. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

Dear Bob and Family,
We shared many boating adventures over the years. Lyn was always ready for the next outing. Her vivacious spirit and laughter will continue to sail with us all aboard Andante. Our hearts go out to you.
Love,
Tom & Sherry

Dear Bob - you may not remember me but I came to stay with you and Lyn after we had met in Tahiti on the Windsong. We spent new years eve sailing to a yacht club. This was some 20 something years ago and I still recall Lyn's bubbly nature and warm welcoming smile - you will miss her terribly - my thoughts are with you at this time. It is strange how fate is that I should google you both whilst planning a trip to san diego today (5th April 2013)God bless you and your family

Lyn was mother to one of my best fiends when I grew up. Her son George is but one result of her joy and zest for life.

So many memories flood me now. Forever, I will always slow, bow, and reflect when I pass their home on Alameda Avenue in Coronado. The USA's "Greatest Generation" just lost a very sweet, lovely, and vivacious member.

It breaks my heart.

I grew up with the family just a few doors away in Coronado. Then in my twenties I was honored to be the official dog sitter. I spent more time 1 year at their home than at mine. Lyn taught me some of the finer things in life. Her laughter was like a wind chime, you could not help but smile and laugh with her. RIP Lyn and all my love to Bob, George, Clay, Nelson and the family.

To Bob and the Shinn Family,
Our heartfelt condolences to your family. We will miss Lynn's laughter that lit up a room, her devotion to her family and friends, and her "can do " attitude. She was a remarkable woman and we were fortunate to have known her. She was a beautiful soul.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your wife, Bob. May your soul be comforted with pleasant thoughts about the past in this time of sorrow. With sympathy to you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with her tonight.

Bob---- Connie and I send our deepest condolenses to you and your family.---Tom
