I extend my sincere condolences to Hakim and all of Eton's family. My sister, Nancy, cousin, Mimi and I all enjoyed many fun times with Eton, Bobby, and the "Jive Five". Eton was a wonderful person, and a tremendous athlete who went on to become a loving and caring father. He truly is gone too soon.

Remembering a kind compassionate friend, who loved life and family. Memories of you and Bobby Cofield (“the Wind”), English High football champs and games at White Stadium. Memories of the good times we all spent on Devon, Thane and Fayston Streets. Fond memories of a friend gone too soon. Rest well, Eton, for your suffering has ended. May God continue to comfort and bless your loved ones during this difficult time.

It was March 1963, just before Easter when we met. You and Bobby Cofield walking across Fisk Univ. campus. Three years later, (Aug. 20, 1966) we married and four years after that, Natalie and David were here. We had good times as a family. However, time can chance lifes flow.
Today, I celebrate the husband and father you were. Even more, I'm blessed by the friendship that survived. With the love of good friends, Carole and a caring extended family, you made life a joy. I know the kids...

Eton was not only my Big Brother, he was my shield and protector. He taught me a great about life. Following in his foot steps as "little brother" was a challenge and joy, he set a high standard. He had the Patience of Job with me. in short, a great Human Being, dedicated to his family. Eton frequently said to me "Enjoy this life, because it it short, accomplish as much as possible and have no regrets . "Live" Eton was a Man of his word. I will miss him in this life greatly. May his name be...
