Etsuko "Betty" Yoshioka

So many years ago I met Betty when she was traveling in Europe with her dear friend Maren and they stopped in Venice to visit. From then until her sad illness she was a beloved frined. We traveled many places together, Israel,Sinai, California and her last amazing visit to New York wit Maren to celebrate July 4 and watch the fireworks on the Hudson. her serenity and gentleness will remain with me and her love surrounds us all. Beloved Betty, we miss you so much.

I have wonderful memories of lovely Betty. I always admired her stature, focus on her future and her extraordinary beauty. A great loss even at her age.

A few years ago I was able to spend some time in Arrowhead with Betty and a few other Torrance High School friends. She was the same sweet, lovely person that I looked up to at THS. My deepest condolences to all of Betty's friends and loved ones.
