Grandma was a wonderful person. Going shopping with her was always an experience. She always took the time to strike up conversations with strangers and would run into others she knew along the way as well. So most of the time a quick trip to the store, wasn't so quick. Now as an adult, I wish I was more like her and took more time to reach out to others the way she always did. She has touched so many hearts with her warm spirit and kind heart. We miss and love you much, Grandma.

I didn't know Etta, however my mother in law, Margaret Verhelle was best friends with Etta while they were still young and raising families. She told me that her and Etta would play with the Ouija board and it told them both that they would have 10 children, and they did! She also said that Alex (Verhelle) had to finally take the board away from them!

I worked with Etta many years ago at St. Lukes hospital on 5 north. She was a great person and a very hard worker. She would do anything for anybody. She was always offering a helping hand. I will never forget her and the good times we had at work. God bless you all. Love and prayers sincerely, Marylou malenfant Swaton from bay city.

From the Myers family: Kerry, Dorothy, Conner, Taylor, Mackenzie and Chuck Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I remember the softball games across the street with Bill and Etta cheering on. Never had trouble finding a team to play ball.

She is in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. What can be said about a person who was an angel right here on earth. Etta was an angel to everyone who knew her she had a heart of gold. To the Webster family my deepest sympathy from the Pete Pena family.
