Read MoreEttore was my mother's cousin and my godfather. Our family, which lives in California, Texas and Oklahoma, are saddened by this loss. I know my mother, Dodie (White) Koeff, who passed away almost a year ago, was very fond of Ettore. My father, Peter Koeff, told me he knew him well. Ettore was in his and my mother's wedding. My dad said Ettore Januzzi was a fine man. We send our condolences and love.

I am so sorry to hear of Ettore's death. My parents raised 7 of us kids and we never shopped anywhere for shoes except Januzzi's and we loved talking to Ettore and Al. I'm sure that many others have wonderful stories of the unique service and the family feeling of shopping at Januzzi's.
