EUALIA MUNOZ RODRIGUEZ "Lala" Feb 12, 1931 - Jul 26, 2004

On July 26, 2004, in her favorite chair, on her porch at home, Lala passed away peacefully. Her life began in Dexter, NM but she soon moved to Sanger, CA in 1945 with her family. There she met and married Louis Rodriguez. They had two children and later moved to Fresno in 1954 where their family home still stands today within their close community of Calwa. As a young girl Lala worked hard in the valley fields picking everything from grapes to cotton. She worked in various packing houses including Marble Foods, and Dole in Sanger, CA from where she later retired in 1997 to care for her disabled husband full time. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who were lucky to know her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and chatting on her front porch with those that would drop by to check in on her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Epitacio and Juliana; sister Anjelita; brother Mike; and her beloved husband and son, Louis Sr., and Louis Jr. She is survived by her son Ralph and his wife Lynn of Clovis; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Thursday, July 29, 2004, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Friday, July 30, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., concluding with interment at Belmont Memorial Park.
