I was in Gene's motorcycle repair class in the early 70's. He was a great guy, great sense of humor, and a wonderful teacher. I've thought of him often over the years and am saddened by his passing. All the best to his family.

Gean was a wonderful man and taught many kids in school the great trade of auto repair. He was one of the last great auto shop instructors in our schools. I had the privilege to come to his class several times on career day at San Rafael High to help promote the auto repair trade and watched him connect with the kids from all walks of life. God bless him and his family.
