He was a great man he will be greatly missed sorry I just found out about it

So Sorry for your loss. As a neighbor and plowed Eugene's drive when needed as a pay it forward I really enjoyed being a friend of his

Mr. Alcorn was an admirable man you never forgot once you met him for the first time. I loved his voice and gentle heart. His stength and devotion were outstanding. I am thankful to have met him and his influence will stay with me for many years to come.

Thank you Unc for your love. I cherished receiving your letters and mail down here in North Carolina. I prayed that you would still be around like you had always been when I came home. I love you and will miss you. Love, Tina Gayden and Family (Broughton)

My other memory of Brother Alcorn is was a close to a friend of mine. When my close friend moved to South Carolina. I was a messenger for my friend. I would ask Brother Alcorn if I can send a message to your friend. Brother Alcorn's response was: Tell that Buzzard to call me! He never calls me! He too busy for me! Remember I am grown to call an older person a Buzzard. What a task for a young person to give that message!

I remember attending a Regional Convention in Pontiac, Mi. Now being no older than 7 years old, Pontiac was a pretty big place. Plus being little I was frighten by this place. When I heard Brother Alcorn's booming voice, I knew I was in the right place! To let everyone know he was across from where I was and I could hear him from that big vast stadium!
