Not sure what to say?

Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Eugene Alex US Army Staff Sergeant.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by...

Thank you Eugene for the ultimate sacrifice. It was an honor to call you a friend. I spend each and every memorial day thinking about the sacrifice you gave. Remembering you as a young man...your smile, your happiness, your sense of humor. Please know that you, my brother, are the focus of my every Momorial Day. Please rest in peace and my God bless you. When we meet again, you will he the first handshake and thank you that I'll give. Thank you my brother.

Another year has past yet it feels like yesterday all over again. I knew you for only a short time but I feel blessed for that. I now have my own kids and swear I can hear you in them nd I know you are watching over us. I thank the lord again for bringing you into my life. I pray the family is good just wish I would have got to meet them. God Bless.

To the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Eugene H. Alex:
It has truly been my honor to sign Eugene's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Eugene will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
