Still remember you getting me to go to the blood bank with you during lunch and next thing I knew there was a needle in my arm. You just sat there grinning and laughing quietly. A fond memory of Gene, is from over 50 years ago, when I started working on his printing press! I was the house political radical, and...uhmmm ....Gene wasn't! We had many, always friendly discussions! Once, after All In The Family had become a TV hit, I asked him, if he ever thought it hit home? He did the " Gene Thing ". Looked down , cupped his hand to his mouth and laughed! Seems like yesterday.
