Not sure what to say?

GENE WAS AN ANCHOR IN OUR COMMUNITY. HE ASSISTED IN BRINGING SO MANY IMPROVEMENTS TO OUR AREA-A TRUE LEADER WHO WE MISS.

OUR COMMUNITY CONTINUES TO MISS GENE'S LEADERSHIP. HE WAS JUST A WONDERFUL PERSON AND A TRUE LEADER. BOB KOVACK

Uncle Gene was married to my moms closest sister. He made her happy and we loved him! He gave her great care as she had had a respiratory disease most of her life. They lived a good and prosperous life together! I miss them both! I also miss my cousins, Kim and Pam, and wish they would contact me.
GOTTA GO! Love, Betsy Doan Perkins

Pam sorry to here about your dad. Stacy

Kim and Pam,
I am so sorry to hear the news about your dad.
After losing both parents, you rely on each other for support and remembering fond memories.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both at this difficult time.

Love,
Sue Doan Poore

To the Bauer Family:
I served with Gene on the LLC Board as the first woman to do so in the 1970's.
He was very accepting and shared his wisdom with me, when another member questioned my right to serve, he remained a valued friend, whom I could consulted for advice. I like others followed and admired his many outstanding contributions to society; throughout the passing years.

We were saddened to hear of Gene's passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. Gene lived a long and full life. May he rest in peace.

I was so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know things are dark right now, but remember how proud he must have been to love a daughter like you. I love you Pam. Roger Warner, Effingham
