Not sure what to say?

To Gary and the your family- sorry to hear of the passing of Gene. He was a great educator in the VSD.

Class of 74 VHS

I remember Gene Bell very well; he was an inspirational teacher and indeed DID remember students long after they left school. He encouraged me to further my education later in life and was very supportive. He will be greatly missed.

So very sorry to learn about Mr. Bell's passing. He was my teacher at Vallejo High many years ago. I will always remember his wonderful smile and the enthusiasm he gave to his students. He will truly be missed.

Vallejo High Class of 65

So sorry to hear of this and for the loss. He was not my teacher but having worked in Vallejo for many years I know how much a good teacher will be missed.

To the Bell Family: I have fond memories of Mr. Bell, as he was a fine teacher and one of my favorites at Vallejo High School. He was a teacher that gave you a reason to go to school and gave us the incentive to study. I am sure he remembered most of his students and he made a great impression on us all.

Mr. Bell is one of the very few teachers I remember. He was my government teacher during summer school. I once saw him at a movie or play in San Francisco and went over to say hello. He was less than thrilled to have two students gushing over him with his date. My sincere condolences to the family.

Gary and family,
Your father was a wonderful man and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Much love to you and Becky.

I knew Mr. Bell best at Franklin Jr. High. He was never without a smile and a positive comment for everyone he came into contact with. Gene Bell was an exceptional teacher and an extraordinary human being. I offer condolences to his family for their loss. The world is a bit smaller due to his passing.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of this wonderful man; I learned so much from him, especially the value of learning, and he was a positive influence on the young people he came into contact with. He was my English instructor at Vallejo Sr High, in 1962, and I have always treasured his kindness in class. My sincere condolences to his family.
