Eugene was raised in the same neighborhood as I. He was the older brother of Merritt and Al and we all held him in high regard as a wiser older brother who kept us kids out of trouble. Gene was well thought of by everyone I knew and Jackie and I went to high school with Rebecca. I am sorry we hadn't seen the Bergklints since high school but he will be long remembered fondly by us.
