Eugene passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016. Eugene was a resident of Moosic, Illinois at the time of passing. He graduate of Blakely High School. Eugene proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc. 1030 N. Main Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Lucyâs Church 949 Scranton St. Interment with Military Honors will follow in St. Johnâs Cemetery Jessup. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Scranton YMCA 706 N. Blakely St. Dunmore PA 18512.

So sorry for your loss... Gino was one of the finest men I knew. Every day at the Y he would greet me with EUGENE and I would reply GINO. As much as he loved golf, he loved baseball more. But how he loved those grandkids. His Y pals will miss him. And for his sake I hope god is a Democrat.
