We just heard about Gene's passing. We remember his and Billie's smiles and laughter as the extended family got together back at Christmastime 2013 in San Diego. Much love!

Riding my bicycle down Farmington Way, Sacramento in the mid 70's is the first time I laid eyes on Mr. Gene Bobinski. The pretty brick work on his house caught my attention, and when I looked up I saw a tall, slender, and friendly man mowing his front lawn. Back then he struck me as a hard working man. I would have never thought in a million years that Gene's family and I would have crossed paths again 40 years later living less than 2 miles apart for 28 years! It definitely is a small world...

Fish On Gene!

Gene was the best father to my wife, father-in-law to me, and grandfather to our son Travis. I will miss him dearly, but he will be with me an eternity through wonderful memories that we created together.
