Not sure what to say?

This man had the kindest smile n loved his family with all of his heart

I want to send my condolences to your family. You father was a good man and I still have a picture of him riding a bicycle in the bike-a-thon held for me after I was a victim of a violent crime. That's the kind of man he was and I will remember him for that goodness and community mindedness. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a kind, inspiring man. He sleeps with angels now.

Dear Jeanie, Joy and Orville,
We are saddened to read of your father's death. May he rest in peace and may he and Kitty dance together through all time. I pray that God will strengthen you and comfort you through these difficult days ahead. May your memories of your dad always bring smiles to your faces and may warm feelings of love well up in your hearts whenever thoughts of him arise and when his name is spoken.
Thinking of you with love and sincere condolences,
Randy and...

Deepest sympathy and prayers to the family...so sorry for your loss.

I served with Gene in the General Assembly.I'll never forget his advice. One of which was it's better to have been a has been than a never was.

I have worked with and for Gene for many, many years, and thought of him as a good, good friend.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Bookhammer during the years he served on the Board at Wesley College. I was Executive Assistant to President Reed Stewart and always enjoyed Mr. Bookhammer's sense of humor and down to earth manner. May he RIP...his legacy will live on.

Fond memories of Gene and Kitty at many Republican affairs. What a beautiful man
