Eugene E. Boudreau Sr.

Eugene E. Boudreau, Sr. of Guilford on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, passed away at home, with his loving family by his side; he was 80 years old. He is survived by his loving family and his caregiver, companion and best friend, Audrey Boudreau. Born in West Haven on March 9, 1928, son of the late Alcide J. and Emme M. Beachene Boudreau. Father of Joseph Boudreau of Ware, MA, Gene Boudreau, Jr. of Guilford, Deborah Fleming of Barnard, VT, Barbara Boudreau of Guilford and Christine Ferris of Guilford. Also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Laura Lee Boudreau, a sister, Florence Civitello and two brothers, Raymond and Renault Boudreau.
Eugene was an Army veteran serving with the CT National Guard during the Korean War. He worked as a gun assembler and marker at Winchester-Olin Corp. for 42 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Fri. Sept. 26 at 11:30am. Burial will follow Mass in St. George Cemetery, Guilford. Friends may call Thur. Sept. 25 from 6 – 8pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford.
