Not sure what to say?

01.19.25 I just learned of Gene´s passing. This hit me extremely hard. My father, Jerry West, and Gene were very close friends up until my father passed in the early `00´s. I remember as a kid, paling around with Uncle Gene-o their military buddies & looking up to his mighty stature the same as my father. I owe a lot to Mr Gene, as he was there like a tall oak in my formative years. I grew up and spread my wings from the nest flying so far away from so many that were once so close. Last I saw...

My sincere condolences to Gene´s family and friends. I´ve been trying to find him since we were very good friends when he lived in Houston in the 70´s. We had last seen each other in 1991. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Always loving Gene, Vickie

Gino, as Eugene liked calling himself at the Italian Talk Time Lunches we often shared for quite some years, will be remembered as a joyful gentleman who enjoyed many things italian. Generous, he was always eager to help. He will be missed. My big condolences to Reynolds and Kathryn Tharp whom Gino loved and trusted so much and, who were always present in both Gino's happy moments as well as in his difficult times.

Dear Kathy and Reynolds, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had known Gene better than just the few encounters we did have.

RIP Gene Thank you for judging The Bluebonnet Bowl Queen contest and choosing me the Winner!

Gene was spontaneous & lived life fully! Rest in Peace with your many friends!! Love, Cindy
