Eugene Brusky

I have fond mrmoies of Dr. Brusky when he responded to my call when my son, who was captain of the Ashwaubenon High School football team. He had spent the night in agony suffering from a bad headache, and the next morning I took him to Dr, Brusky, who immediately responded to his needs. It turned out my son had a concussion, and Dr. Brsky went up to the high School and examined the helmets and discovered they did not fit the heads so my son had a double hit which resulted in his concussion....

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Brusky from 1994-1999. It took me over a year to realize when he told me stories about “Vince”... he was talking about “VINCE LOMBARDI”! He was amazing caring man and doctor. I remember him doing crossword puzzles daily. I gave him a Father’s Day card once and he gave me his signed hall of fame card. I bought him the last supper carved out of fish bones and he told me he placed it near some sentimental holy items in his house. I know he had coffee and...

I saw this a couple of months ago while I was in Afghanistan. I am so sorry I was unable to say anything to the family until now. Dr. Brusky will be missed. I remember him most for two things as a kid, showing me his Super Bowl Rings and loaning me a set a golf clubs to get me started playing the game. Charles and I walked MILES to get to the course just to play. To the family members, I am truly sorry for the loss of your Father. He IS a great man and role model.

Dr.Gene Brusky has been on my mind and in my heart so many times in the past forty years. I actually have been thinking so much of him and wanted to call him to tell him how much knowing him has been a wonderful memory from my past...I went on line to try to find a phone number and became aware of his recent passing.
