Not sure what to say?

Gene was an expert at so many things. His lamps shine on. He helped so many folks who seemed beyond help. I hope his friends were there with him. He was a true self made man. We would collect scrap metal as kids, trip the trolley car wires on east lake dr.,and after collecting brass (which was more $ per pound), he decided he would make new lamps from old.He had help from , Steve Parrish,Duke Metcalf, and others in establishing Lampcrafters in Daytona Beach ,FL. Of course, I wish I had seen...

Lived and worked with the man for almost 10 years its been 10 months and it still hurts ill always love and remember you Gene

From the age of 14...thru parties and Disco. Snagging flags at East Lake and cruising to the lake in the Caddy, top down, music blaring; thru marriage, divorce, births and too many deaths...until the moment you crossed over holding tightly to my hand... We've always had you, Gene. The first one we'd call, good times and bad. You meant the world to me and to so many others. I hope I was able to show you that in the best, in the only, way I could. You will forever be missed, forever in my heart....

Say hello to Mike and Julie til we meet again old friend.

Thank you Gene for so many wonderful memories!
From the heartache of Eddie’s death we all shared to the wonders we explored in your Studbacker!
See you on the other side.....

We kids learned about cars, music antiques and how to smoke cigs in Gene’s Studbacker!
We laughter and sang as we explored Stone Mtn, the rock quarry and other far away place together!
I had the opportunity to work at the Steel Mill the summer before college and can honestly say it was the hardest job I every had in my life!
