My fondest memories of Va Tech are of doing undergraduate research under Dr. Carson who was my advisor and also working with him on organizing and then publishing the proceedings of a conference he organized and held at Va Tech. In fact, I think one of the reasons I was able to impress my wife (now of 52 going on 53 years) was when she saw me pipetting reagents when doing the study for Dr. Carson.
