Not sure what to say?

I knew Gene through our Fr Loughrey book group. And I was always amazed at the intelligence and insights of his commentary. He loved reading and was incredibly informed about so much. Yet he was very humble and totally unpretentious. I loved being in his company. I will miss him greatly. And I send my love and deepest sympathy to his beautiful wife Jean Jerry

Tim and everyone: It was a true privilege to have known Gene for many years. To a lowly law clerk, he was an inspiration. On the occasions on the tennis or the golf course, he was a happy, fun guy and it was joy to be in his company. As Jim said, Gene was one of the truly good guys.

Jeanie, Lisa, Tim and families, Gene was the most wonderful cousin a person could have.

Tim and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Gene was a great man and so kind whom we both admired. Of course, I had known him for 55 years and was thankful for his friendship. He will be sadly missed.

My most sincere condolences to the family. I have fond memories of Gene from his tome as county counsel. He was a sweet, caring and gentle man.

To Jean and Gene´s Family, Gene, who it was my honor to know these recent years, was not only a lover of good books but also and always a kind, hospitable and pleasant person. My condolences at your loss of this good man.

Gene was an inspiration to me as a fellow professional in the service of local municipalities. His demeanor and courtesy to our clients and the public during the years we worked together in Elk Township was a model to be admired and respected. I am sure he is already missed by his family and friends. He was one of the "good guys" I had the privilege of knowing.

He was my idle in the practice of law and in life generally!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
