Not sure what to say?

Joyce and family, so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I have the special privilege of saying I worked with Gene in my early years at TVA, Knoxville, 1971-77. He was always direct, always respectful. I learned a lot from Gene. May God bless all of you.

Thru the testimonies at Solway Baptist Church, I know you, and what a fine Christian Brother you are. I did not meet you here as you passed thru, but I will meet you on the other side in Heaven.

Melissa, just wanted you to know we were thinking about you. Sorry we couldn't be there but know that you and your family are in our prayers. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow that you and your family are feeling right now. Just know that there are many people praying for you all.

To Joyce and the Chitwood children, I want to express how much I enjoyed knowing Eugene. He truly was a good man and friend whom I will never forget. Joyce you were part of my wedding back in 1961.
Since I only know you Gregg, personally, I want to say, you had a father that we all admired.

May God truly be with you Joyce, and the rest of the family,

Hugh Newsom

Melissa, what a great Dad he was! I know your heart is breaking, but what wonderful hope you have that you will be with him again someday! I love you & your Mom so very much!

A Truly Good Man who is rejoicing in
Heaven today!

Great man to work with, and a good person.
Sorry for your loss.

One of the best I have worked with. I know Gene will be missed by so many.

Greg, thinking of you and your family during this time.
