Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Gene´s passing and send sympathy your way. Trying to contact you.

Cathy, We are so sorry to hear of Gene´s path and passing. We are sure you are well circled by your family, and we are grateful. So many wonderful memories surface as we remember our lucky days with you. Sending love and healing, Gary and Sue Reynolds

Gene was kind and he knew how to bring levity to dreary conversation. I miss him.

Gene was our neighbor for about 10 years and was such a special man. On many nights you could hear Gene and Cathy entertaining their friends with amazing dinners and conversation. Always a smile on his face. He was full of good stories and always made you feel welcome. We are so grateful to have had the time we did with Gene in our lives. What a blessing to the heavens he will be. We love you Gene. - Ty, Victoria, Hunter and Collin

Peace and strength to the Comfort Family, I will cherish so many special memories our family made with Gene and his beautiful family when we lived next door to them on Glisan Street.

We shared happy times with Gene and Cathy from student days at the University of Portland, marriages, growing families, our children at All Saints School and La Salle High School. Gene was one of the most solid, trustworthy, dependable, (and funny, too!!) persons I have ever met. Peace to Cathy and family and may the goodness of Gene live on as his legacy to life. Margaret Gratton

Gene acted with high trust. In so doing he built a loving family and earned the respect of school mates, co-workers and friends...including us. A genuine man not afraid to show tears is a man to be trusted. Pat & Eva

Sad news. Gene was a wonderful person and I so enjoyed our friendship personally and professionally. RIP dear friend.

Gene was a wonderful neighbor and great friend. He gave good advice and much love. We offered Mass for him and your family tonight.
