Not sure what to say?

The thing I'll remember most about Uncle Gene was his ability to discuss any topic. I always looked forward to visiting with him. Even though we didn't agree all the time he was always willing to listen to all sides of an issue. I appreciate the wisdom he could impart in a conversation. Thanks, Uncle Gene, for your wise words during those difficult days in our lives. We will miss you. Enjoy the beauty, love, and pain-free life up there.

Love,
Becky

Dear Gene:

You must be in a far better place now and finally free of pain. We
know that you are having a happy re-
union with those who have gone be-
fore you.

We consider ourselves very fortunate
to have known you in this life and
hope we will all be together in the
next one.

We send our LOVE,

Dear Uncle Gene,

I hope all the pain is gone and you have joined others from the Croghan Clan. Life must be better where you have gone. I only hope someday we will have a chance to converse again about the meaning of life.

You were a man that could chat with anyone at their level and offer great advice about the ways of life. I know Sean and Paul have lost a loving father and someone who gave them a lot of insight in the ways to live from day to day.

...

Gene,
Till we see each other again.

Walt

Dear Uncle Gene,

I know your looking down at all of us a this very moment, exclaiming that I finally made it. Got the final drawing off the ol drawing board so to speak and fulfilled the contract in full. Good job, all that hard work was worth it.

The phone calls, oh the phone calls, I always enjoyed talking with you and will miss that most.
You were a great listener, Man I should know, you were always there for me when I needed an ear to hear my ramblings...

Rest in Peace Uncle Gene.. a gentle soul who took the time to listen and was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Gene was not only a great uncle to me and my family, but also a great friend. I will always remember our long talks about everything from politics to geneaology. He really opened my eyes to a lot of new things. I've had a lot of personal trials that I'm not sure I would have done as well with if not for his guidance. I only hope he realized how much I appreciated him and his ability to make a situation clear. He was a good, good man and my wife and myself are only sorry our daughter isn't...
