Not sure what to say?

Gene was such a good neighbor to have and never let his health issues slow him down. I often wondered how he kept going but he always had such a good attitude and a ready laugh. He was a hard worker and really appreciated and respected anyone who was willing to work. We all miss him!

I was so sorry to hear of Gene’s passing. I have great memories of Gene and Loretta from when I was young, and visiting the ranch with my parents. Gene was a great person and will be missed by many. Blessing to your family.

Gene was one of those iconic individuals who has left a legacy that all who knew him will remember with the upmost respect and honor. He will be sorely missed, but our memories of times with him will bring smiles and comfort down the road.
To sweet Loretta and family, we send love and prayers to you all.

Loretta and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Gene was one of a kind and a wonderful person. Dennis enjoyed working with him on the ditch and learned so much from him. You are in our thoughts and prayers. He will be greatly missed.

We will truly miss seeing Gene on the Steamboat Ditch every spring. Each year he and Bob Cerfolio would stop to visit and talk about old and new times and the fun we had. Loretta, our heart goes out to you and your family for your loss.

Gene ; you were one of the hardest working farmer/ranchers we ever knew. As with most salt of the earth people the word "quit" just wasn't in you vocabulary. Rest in peace! We keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers!

My sincere condolences to the family of Gene and Loretta. We had some good times back in the day.
