Great American, great man, wonderful human being, a good friend and great Christian man! He was one of the most entertaining conversationalists I've ever been around. Gene was always full of life and had a true passion for living. He absolutely loved his wife and was tremendously proud of his sons. I had never met either of his children but knew about all of their accomplishments and achievements. I hadn't seen him in a number of years, and it truly breaks my heart to hear of his passing....
