I remember when my first husband died, Gene was the first person who came to my house at 5am the next day with my favorite dunkin donuts. I'll never forget how consoling he was. He was a very sweet man, but always yelled at me when he thought I was wrong. RIP my dear friend.

I met Gene at Gripnail in 1996 when I first started working there. For 25 yrs, we would go out every Thursday for lunch. I enjoyed very much talking to him about family, friends, politics and just laughing. He was like a brother to me and I will truly miss him.
