Not sure what to say?

Dear Dad,

I love you and miss you. My prayers are always with you!

I am very grateful for having known and loved Gene in such a special way, as his daughter-in-law. Dad, as I referred to him, was always there for our family. He helped make the good times great, and the bad times bearable. He was an honorable and respected man who was cherished and admired by myself and my two wonderful daughters-his two adoring grandaughters. The fond memories we have of him will keep his love alive.

I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Gene as my father-in-law. The exceptional job he did in raising his son, and my husband, Kevin warms my heart each and every day. And for that I thank him. My children have loved and admired this wonderful man greatly and there is a true void in all of our lives now. I know that he's watching over us all with that unreplaceable smile that will never be forgotten. We were truly blessed by his presence, and by his life and love.

To the family of Gene Dolan,
Guests have signed in and speak of the fine police officer Gene Dolan was but what I knew about the man was how his son Kevin always spoke of him with such enjoyment, love, admiration, and respect. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

Dear Marion and Family, Mimi and I were deeply saddened to hear of Genes passing. We had worked in the 4th Precinct and the Fifth Squad for a number of years. He loved "the job" and his family deeply and will be missed by all who knew him.

To the family of Gene : I worked in the 4th Pct. with gene when he was a det. and I was a rookie, Gene was always helpful and a true gentleman I will always remember him, may God bless him and may he rest in peace.

Dear Marion and Family,my husband Bob who passed away this September, worked with Gene various times over his 33 years with the NCPD. He always spoke about Gene with the utmost warmth and respect. Gene was a wonderful man and a great boss.My sincere condolences to all of you.Dottie Spitzer, Orrs Island, Maine
