Please accept my condolences. I worked in the same building with Gene in Fayetteville many years ago. I am originally from Tarboro. He was certainly a straight shooter - a very nice person with a great personality. You will be in my prayers.

Dear Rhonda and family:
It saddens me for the loss of Gene, as he has been a great neighbor and friend - a really good man. I felt secure in knowing that he was there to "help take care of me," if I needed him. But, I know that he is in a better place and feeling no pain now.
