Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Eugene Driscoll's passing. He was my Principal at Meadow Brook. He had the incredible ability to remember everyone's name... present student or past. He had such a positive influence on so many kids in Burlington.

Nancy, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. As you know, he was my elementry school principal at Meadow Brook. I can still remember him out at recess in his dark suit, narrow dark tie, maybe a little Brill Cream in his hair, interacting with the kids. "Hi Mr. Driscoll" He was always good to me and my four sisters while we were there, especially when our mom died. He made a impact and a differance in many peoples lives, we can only hope to do the same.

DEAR NIECES AND NEPHEWS I WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW PROUD YOUR DAD'S SIBLINS WERE OF HIM. HE STOOD TALL AMONG US AND SET THE EXAMPLE FOR THE REST OF US. HIS ATHLETIC PROWESS IN BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL AT ST.CLEMENT HIGH SVHOOL IS WELL RECORDED IN ITS ARCHIVES. GENE WAS A GOOD CARING MAN TO HIS FAMILY, STUDENTS, FRIENDS AND ALL THOSE WHO SUFFERED FROM DEPRESSION. I AM SURE HE IS RESTING PEACEFULLY WITH THE LORD AND FINALLY HE KNOWS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT NOW. AUNT CLARE

Nancy, Larry, J.P. & Luke ~

Know that you are all in our thoughts & prayers. My Dad was a principal - maybe they're up there comparing notes! They'll be watching over "our kids" keeping them in line! There's no more suffering, only happiness.

Love & peace, Eileen Paris
