Not sure what to say?

Dear friends and family of Eugene Fenwick, (Gene) How fast time flies for those who survive the loss of a loved one in death. Today marks the 17th year since we first experienced our shared grief. The Bible compares death to a state of sleep. This leads many to reason that the time that elapses between when a person falls 'asleep' in death and the time they hear Jesus' voice (their resurrection) is not measured in days or even minutes, but rather just a moment of time! So, while we may...

We were pretty young. Not that long ago. See you soon

Hindsight is 2020. And now it is 2020

Today I look back at what seems like yesterday when we lost our dad. It's been 7 years today and I miss my dad just like it was 7 years ago. I remember the day before he passed away he wanted Debra to make him liver and onions. Wish we could of had that last dinner togather.
Love and Miss you..
Harry and Debra Fenwick

Your always loved and missed.
Your son Harry

It has been three years and it doesn’t get any easier. It seems like yesterday you just stop by my work to say hello and ask me If I wanted to go to lunch and have some Calm Chowder. I sure do miss that . My grand children still talk about Grandpa Gene and the wild wheel chair rides they had with you. I am very thankful of all the wonderful memories I have and the silly stories to share with my grandkids.

Take time out of your busy day to stop and smell the flowers. None...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

Family and friends,

Life sure does get busy! One day we're saying goodbye to our last living parent, the one whose loins produced us, and the next thing you know, everyone has gone home, and before long its been an entire year. Some come back, to honor the memory of thier friend, others just didn't realize how much time has elapsed. Hard to imagine its been two years since dad fell asleep in death. I hope to revisit this book again. If I don't, it will be because my name is...

It’s been one full year, yet in some ways it seems like yesterday. “When are you going home?” I will never forget the way it sounded, dad’s last words to me “When are you going home”. Well I’m home and dad’s not. (I know because I’ve been there. You’d hardly recognize the place and dad is no where to be found.) **** Actually the best way to take the sting out of death is by means of the truth. It doesn’t erase our loss, we still have to cope with our grief, but we do not grieve without...
