I worked in the same office building that Gene worked in. My father had known him for many years before I knew him. He was a fine gentleman to both of us. I'm sorry to read about his recent passing away. I send my condolences to Gene's family.

We first met Gene in 1947 when we moved to San Jose. He was working for Max Baugh, and Don shared an office with them.Since then he has always been in our lives via the San Jose Swim and Raquet club, YMCA Camp Campbell, playing Bridge, and other enjoyable times. Although he left us for Arizona some years ago, we always stayed in touch, and even visited him on occasion there. He will always be in our hearts and mind.Evelyn Anderson

Gene always greeted you with a warm smile and a hardy laugh. He was generous and kind. He gave me his '59 Rover sedan when I was in need of a car.
He was a good friend and I will miss him dearly.
