Not sure what to say?

To Sue & fam, To say that Gene was the greatest guy would be an understatement. As a fellow teacher, he would do anything for anyone at anytime. I am enjoying my retirement years thanks to Gene. May he rest in peace!! Take care, Sue.

Mr. Frank was my favorite teacher in high school--I was a little afraid of him but I loved his class! (I had Mrs. Kime too for History, and she was an excellent teacher.) But I shall never forget his challenging but always colorful classes. Bonnie Cioffi Cashen

Just learned of Gene's passing. Sincerest condolences to you, Sue, and to all of his family. Throughout our many shared years as teachers in Arlington, Gene was always a trusted friend and mentor, always the "go to" guy for any concern. I can still remember the day I interviewed with him as English Department Chair back in 1967! The rest is history and a most memorable history, thanks in large part to Gene. RIP.

Mr. Frank was my Homeroom teacher and also my English teacher. Her was stern but fair. I remember book reports were one week written and the other week was oral in front of the class; and you needed to use hand gestures too or points were taken off your final score. A great educator. May he rest in peace.
Arlington High School class of 1963

Prayers for the Frank family, associates and friends. I' got to know Eugene and he was a most informed person. A great educator and community activist. Fordham has lost a great alum.

After I had to leave college because my father was dying from cancer, I took some evening courses at DCC. Mr. Frank was my professor. I was never a big fan of English Lit, but his love and passion of a great read was palpable. My father passed away while I was in the class. Mr. Frank took the time to really minister to me in my grief. That was 53 years ago, but I still remember his kindness.

Me. Frank was one of my favorite teachers at Arlington High School. He used to say, That is a truism. I will always remember him.

Mr. Frank was a great teacher! I enjoyed his class and his wit . He brought out the best in his students by expecting us to perform at a high level. My deepest condolences to his family. Know that he was loved!
