Not sure what to say?

Gene will always be remembered with much love by everyone who knew him. My prayers are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. In deepest sympathy,

I worked with Gene when I was very new to building jigs. He was great to work with! From my dad working for Santa Fe railroad I was able for Gene to get some heavy fencing that he made racoon cages from. I was working second shift when he went to my parents house to pick it up. When I went by the next day they were still laughing at some of the stories he had told them. He also told me having four daughters that he had always told them that if they would elope that he would give them $1500.00...

Sharon and family. I was one of the fortunate ones to know Gene. He was my best friend for many years. We were together in grade school, sunday school, high school, sport activities, college and the army. I could not have grown up with a better person. I am sorry that we did not keep contact in our later years, I would liked to have renewed our friendship and met his family. Max Hoefer
