Not sure what to say?

Just accidentally stumbled on this obituary. So sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad showed me a kindness once and my dad liked and respected him. This is Sharon (Bupp) Manning, your second cousin.

For a number of years Gene and family were my neighbors in Fairview Township. I worked for him during elections and when Agnes hit. He cared about people and worked very hard to help them. He served his community well.

My cousin, several years ago, we reconnected and then the connection got lost. Not sure why. What an accomplished man. Never knew he held those football records at DAHS. Proud Wildcats we are. I'm sorry for your loss to his closest family members. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your family´s loss. Prayers & hugs to you all.

When, as a youngster, I would visit with his parents who always spoke proudly of their "fine son". I was never able to establish contact with Johnny after his college career; however, I did follow his successful...

Dave - so very sorry to hear of your fathers passing

To Mr. Geesey's family, My late husband and I knew him well when he was a state representative, as well as in Fairview Township. He was a fine man and will be remembered by many for his service to Pennsylvania. His family will be sustained by memories of his life, as well as his lifelong active help to others... Sincerely, Mrs. Harry L. (Shirley E.) Messick Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
