I am very sad to hear of Gene's passing. While at SMU we were brothers in the bond of SAE Fraternity. I love that he had a life of meaning and obviously cherished giving and helping others. It is no surprise that his faith propelled him forward and ultimately brought him back home to God. It is too soon...I agree.
