Eugene Glass

I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was a great friend and supporter of the astronomy program at Rose-Hulman. His enthusiasm for astronomy was contagious and the students loved observing with him almost as much as he did.

I first met Gene at homecoming in 1992. I had just become the director of the observatory and he sought me out to ask how he could help. At that time, the observatory was scheduled to be demolished. With Gene's support we were able to revive the astronomy...

A very kind and special man! He taught me so many things at the beginning of my career, which have blossomed and carried on with me.

I had the pleasure if working with Gene for a few short years at the Colley Associates, I found him to always be very kind, positive, and patient. He was a good listener and seemed always genuinely interested in new things. I enjoyed getting to know him as an adult after hearing about his engineering skills as a child as he worked along side my father for many years. He was a great engineer and very well respected. My deepest sympathy to Emily and Malinda. I will always remember him. ...
