There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about my grandfather. He is very missed. I miss being able to just call him and say "HI." I was so happy when they all moved here to Florida. I can't believe it has been a year that we have not had him with us. He always knew how to make somebody smile when they were down. And he still does. He was a great guy. We will always remember him for all the good he did for us. We Love and Miss You Grandpa Gene!!!

I uaed to call Gene, Mr. doughnut. Everytime he came for a visit or for dinner he would bring a box of doughnuts for all of us to enjoy. I was just getting to know him, and maybe build a boat togather. I miss him and his smileing face. I wish I had more time with him bI think we would have become good friends. Miss you. watch over us love David.

I miss dad more and more everyday. Every time I cook something that I know he would like, it hurts because I know he is not here for me to invite over. He was so much fun to be around. It was nice to turn around at work and see him standing there. He would have the biggest smile on his face which would make me smile. I missed having him around when I was little but in my heart he was always there. He will always be there. I said I bet he had the biggest smile when he got to heaven and finally...

I was so happy when my grandfather moved to florida. I will remember when he would drive by my work and beep his horn and wave and give me that great smile of his and blow me a kiss! I will always miss that great memory. He was such a great person! I will miss you Grandpa Gene! God Bless!

I remember as a little boy how strong and how friendly my Dad was. I feel very sad about the time that we lost contact, but thanks to a chance meeting with Buren in Charleston South Carolina, My Dad was once again a part of mine, Barry and April's life. Iam thankful to our savior Jesus Christ that Dad was a Christian and with that I know that he is with the Lord. I will miss him very much!!
