Not sure what to say?

Gene was a great friend who always had that smirky smile because you knew he was going to tell you a joke that would make you laugh wherever you were seeing him. A great Supt. And Cornhusker fan I will always remember.

Great man, glad I had the opportunity to know Eugene!

as him being a papa to not just me but seven grand kids we do truly miss him but he is up in heaven watching us peacefully

Gene was a great colleague who truly enjoyed life. Many great memories of Bigten football luncheons and our trip to Ann Arbor.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. Gene was a fellow Regional Superintendent and I have many great memories sharing time with him. He will be missed. He was "one of the good guys".

Enjoyed being the neighbor across from your townhome in Huntley.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gene thru the Hackers golf group and right away thought of him as a truly great person. We had many laughs together and I could always put a smile on his face and enjoy his hearty laugh. I know he is watching over his beloved family and his Cornhuskers. Truly a fine person. Will miss him on the first tee. RIP my friend.
