Not sure what to say?

Gene was one of my teachers at Van Sickle in 1964. He was one of my favorite teachers who not only taught science, but also gave life lessons to those who listened. He was also a towering figure as a man and as an educator. I'll never forget him. Lee A Haire

Dear Chip, Kathy and family - I am sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Carla

Kathy and family, very sorry for your loss. Keep your dad's spirit alive, he will always be with you.

I ONLY KNEW GENEFOR THREE OR FOUR YEARS AND ONLY BECAUSE WE PLAYED GOLF IN THE SAME GROUP AT EAST MOUNTAIN G. C. IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO BE HIS PARTNER.I WISH TO EXPRESS MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY AND TO HIS BROTHER STANLEY WITH WHOM I HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH FOR MANY YEARS AT WESTOVER AFB.

To Gene's sons and daughter, you had the most loving and wonderful Father we have ever met. Have know him for long time and know he will be missed. He forever talked about his grandchildren whom he adored.

I was very sorry to hear that Gene past away. I have known Gene for over 40 years having taught in the Springfield School system, and on the sports field when we were both involved in our sons teams. He will be missed

My deepest sympathy to the Golash family. Mr. Golash is the one teacher that stands out for me. He was without a doubt the best teacher that I was lucky enough to have. God Bless You All. God Bless Mr. Golash.

Mr. Golash was my teacher at Van Sickle. He was a great help to me and I will always remember him and the attention he gave me to help me on my way with school and life.
We used to call him, "Jet Golash."

Bob

I have always had fond memories of Mr. Golash. He was interesting as a teacher and was always kind.
