Gene was a terrific guy. His humor was priceless and his care for others impressive. I had the privilege of being a friend to Gene and his family in the eighties, when I lived in Dayton, and the memories from that time still warm my heart. My sympathies to Mary, Angie and Tom and their families. Gene was greatly loved and will be missed.
