Nine years. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago, sometimes it feels like yesterday. I'm sorry he is gone, but so glad we became friends years ago. R.I.P Brother.

Griz, there's a special place in my heart that is forever yours. I've thought of you often through the years and will continue to do so. You gave me so many great memories and so much wisdom..I will miss the opportunity to see that smile, the twinkle in your mischievous eyes and hear your laugh. Thank you for taking me along on part of your ride! XX

It has been a while since I've seen you, but you will always remain an integral part of the memories of my really fun, younger days...You stole a piece of my heart that will always remain with you.

We're so sorry for your loss ... Griz was a very special friend. We know he will be missed by many.

Griz was my first personal contact with the MMA.
Thanks in large part to that conversation I was motivated to join and support the Association.
Without Griz, I might not have been inspired to follow his footsteps into a leadership position.
