Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Alda. How we'll miss seeing Gene puttering around the yard or heading out into the pond to get crabs for you. He was a good man and will be missed by many.

On behalf of the Piampiano family, please accept our sincere condolences and affection. I can't help but remember the many happy summertime gatherings hosted by Gene and Aldi, dipping buttery steamers over an impulsive game of high-low-jack, while the fireworks lit up the Matunuck skies. Our family had so many wonderful memories with Gene and he will be greatly missed.

George, Rollie, Rebekah, and I want to extend our love and sympathy at the passing of Uncle Gene. He was a wonderful man with a faithful and kind heart. We remember fondly one summer day when he took us clamming in Rhode Island. He was a patient teacher and we ended up with lots of clams! It was a fun-filled day as were many others while visiting the Hackney Family. We will miss Uncle Gene and pray for God to comfort you all. Love, Your Niece Rody & My Family
