With this great man passing, so passes a great dynasty. Gary, Star, Bill, Don, Edna, and their spouses, and their hard working, hard playing group of friends...Mel, Joe, Marylou. I know the kids (second generation) will never forget the camping and fishing trips; the huckleberry picking; nor all the card games, laughter, and hunting trips. Gene and Mary Lou really blessed their children with full lives. Good bye, Friend. Hug Mary Lou and all our love ones up there.

Thank you for setting the example for how a real man should behave. Your shoes will be hard to fill. It was a pleasure and an honor growing up across the street from the Hagreens. You and Mary Lou are missed. Sincerely, Dena Slater-Florence
