Not sure what to say?

Your compassion, care and love you gave me and my family is without question what most only dream.

. You taught me by example love, compassion, respect, and honor for not just loved ones but for everyone. Its truly been my honor to be a part of your life not only as my uncle gene but as my Dad. In my heart your shoes could never be filled. I will forever look so forward to that day we see one another again. I love you and honor one of the greatest human beings ever . MY...

With this great man passing, so passes a great dynasty. Gary, Star, Bill, Don, Edna, and their spouses, and their hard working, hard playing group of friends...Mel, Joe, Marylou. I know the kids (second generation) will never forget the camping and fishing trips; the huckleberry picking; nor all the card games, laughter, and hunting trips. Gene and Mary Lou really blessed their children with full lives. Good bye, Friend. Hug Mary Lou and all our love ones up there.

Thank you for setting the example for how a real man should behave. Your shoes will be hard to fill. It was a pleasure and an honor growing up across the street from the Hagreens. You and Mary Lou are missed. Sincerely, Dena Slater-Florence

We were both "finer than frogs hair"

I love you with all my heart.

Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.
