Not sure what to say?

I had the sincere pleasure of meeting Mr. Hansen and his wife when they were living at Oakdale Heights, and our friendship with them has continued to this day. What I will remember the most about Mr. Hansen was his belief in me and his genuine hope for my future. I was privileged enough to inherit many of his books from his teaching days in Africa, as he knew how I dream of going there one day. Both Mr. Hansen and his wife were kind, generous, and loving people. For this, I was grateful...

Gene and Grace were such fine people. I first met Gene during my freshman summer at Placer. He brought the world of Africa and the Tansanian people to my life. We later sang together in the choir at St. Pauls. Such joyful Spirit filled people are such a blessing to have in ones life. Both Bill and I are saddened at Genes passing. Our prayers are with your family. Bill and Carol (Brooks) Lane

Mr Hansen & his entire family have always been family to myself & my brother, ever since we came to Auburn in 1982. Mr hansen treated me like gold from the day he met me. I cherished him & his precious wife Grace. I use to go to thier home after school and iron Mr hansen's shirts for Mrs Hansen. I babysat his beautiful grand daughters, his daughter took me in her home when i needed a place to live. what can i say all of you are a loving warm family that has touched so many lives & i will...

I never had Gene as a teacher at Placer, but what I do remember is the perpetual smile he had on his face whenever I'd see him. I could tell he was an extremely kind man. My condolences to his family.
R.I.P. Mr. Hansen

Dear Hansen Family:
I had the great pleasure to know and become close friends with Gene and Grace at Oakdale Heights in Roseville. They were both wonderful people. Now they are reunited with each other in the presence of the Lord. You are such a wonderful family, I wish you well during this time of his passing. God bless all of you. I will hold dear my memories of two great people.
Sincerely, Carol Lundquist
