I had Mr. Hassler at Breckinridge Middle school. He was a great teacher. Prayers for comfort for the family.

Gene was my favorite cousin. I used to look forward to summer when he arrived in Wisconsin to work at his grandparents farm. On my visits to Roanoke he was always gracious and accommodating. I will miss him.

I worked with Mr. Gene at Allstate insurance. He was such a nice man always made me smile may he Rest In Peace.

I had Mr. Hassler for history at Breckinridge Middle School, in the 8th grade. I remember him as a very good teacher, but, still chuckle about the “true, false, and partial ( partially true or false,) tests he gave. I had the pleasure of working with Gene in our department at Allstate after his retirement in the school system. He was a gentle man always quietly whistling as he went about his duties. Prayers for his family....may you Rest In Peace Gene!
