I had the pleasure and good fortune to have been part of the Hartz Mountain organization for 17 years. Gene will always be in my prayers and thoughts.

I am a former employee of Hartz Mountain and remember Gene as being one of the warmest employers I have ever worked for. My sympathy goes out to Penny and the rest of his family.
