Eugene Howden

Dear Linda and Howden family. I want to express my sincere condolences for Gene's passing. He will be missed. He was a gentleman; a devoted family man; a friend who always greeted you with a smile; a mentor who always had time to listen and to help; a colleague who epitomized the best in our profession; and a Carolina basketball fan. Gene was a wonderful human being who led an exemplary life. He was our youngest daughter´s dentist after we moved to Chapel Hill. We were fellow parishioners at Chapel of the Cross for many years. But, most of all, Gene was a Sigma Nu brother. His devotion to Psi Chapter was the stuff of legend. As president of the home association for years, he did more than anyone to keep the chapter a going concern. He was the financial steward, but more importantly, he kept the excesses of the actives...
